Managing Postings

Filter the Postings page, pause and resume listings, keep boards in sync, and handle legacy Indeed postings.

This page covers the day-to-day management of live postings — from the cross-job Postings page or a job’s Job Boards section in the Job Console. Both show the same cards and actions.

Filtering the Postings page

The filter bar narrows the list without leaving the page:

JobAll jobs, or any single job that has postings

Live includes postings that are running or pending publication. Ended covers completed and failed postings. Click Clear all to reset every filter at once.

Per-posting actions

Open the actions menu (⋯) on a posting card:

  • View listing details — see the full listing as posted. Clicking anywhere on the card opens the same view.
  • Sync to board — push the job’s latest details (title, description, location, salary) to the live listing. Cards show an Out of sync badge when the job has edits that haven’t reached the board, and a Sync queued badge while the board processes an update.
  • Open on Indeed / Open on LinkedIn — open the board’s employer dashboard in a new tab. When the board provides a direct link to the listing, a View posting link also appears on the card.
  • Reassign to a different role — point the posting at another job. New applicants land on the new job; candidates who already applied stay with the original job.
  • Change sponsorship tier — Indeed only: switch between organic, a managed daily-budget tier, or your own Indeed campaign tag.
  • Pause posting / Resume posting — see below.
  • Cancel posting — stop the posting permanently. The ad stops running and no new applicants arrive from it. This can’t be undone.

How pause behaves

Pause works differently depending on how the posting is run:

  • Your account postings (posted through your own Indeed or LinkedIn account): pausing takes the listing offline on the board. Resuming re-posts it as a new listing.
  • Sponsored through CONFIRM postings: pausing stops it in CONFIRM, but the listing stays live on the board until its run ends. The card notes “Listing still live on the board” while paused.

Legacy Indeed postings

If your organization used CONFIRM’s older Indeed integration, the job’s existing Indeed listing appears as a Legacy (Indeed) card marked Managed externally. The listing itself lives on Indeed; applications arrive in CONFIRM through the legacy pipeline.

Legacy cards have two actions:

  • Open Indeed dashboard — manage the listing (pause, edit, or take it down) in your Indeed employer account.
  • Remove from CONFIRM — disconnect the listing from CONFIRM. This only clears the link on your side; it does not take the listing down on Indeed. New applicants from that listing will no longer be attributed to the job.

If a job has both a Legacy (Indeed) posting and a newer Indeed posting active, the role may appear twice on Indeed. CONFIRM flags this on the job’s Job Boards section — consider taking the legacy listing down in your Indeed dashboard.
