Adding Candidates

How candidates enter CONFIRM — manually, from job boards, and from other sources.

Candidates can enter your pipeline several ways. However they arrive, each one is attached to a job and starts moving through that job’s pipeline stages.

Add a candidate manually

Use this when a candidate reaches you outside a job board — a walk-in, a phone inquiry, or someone you sourced yourself.

1

Click Add Candidate

On the Candidates page, click Add Candidate in the top-right corner.

2

Enter their details

Provide the candidate’s name, email, phone number, and the job they’re applying for.

3

Save

The candidate is created in the Applied stage and appears in the candidate list immediately.

A phone number is required for voice screening — candidates without one show up under the No Phone Number quick filter so you can fill in the gap.

Applications from job boards

When a job is posted to job boards like Indeed or LinkedIn, applicants flow into CONFIRM automatically — no manual entry needed. Each candidate arrives with their application details and resume (where the board provides one), attached to the right job, with a source chip showing which board they came from.

See Posting to Job Boards for how to get your jobs live on boards.

Other sources

Candidates can also arrive through direct apply links and landing pages, employee referrals, and inbound phone calls answered by your voice agent. The source chip on each candidate row tells you which path they took, and you can filter the list by source.

What happens after a candidate enters

  1. The candidate starts in the Applied stage.
  2. When they’re ready to be screened, they move to Awaiting Screening and the AI screening call is placed — automatically if the job has auto-screening enabled, or when you click Start Screening on their profile.
  3. The screening call asks the job’s questions, and the candidate receives a score and recommendation.
  4. Based on the outcome, the candidate advances automatically (for example, to Eligible (Awaiting Scheduling)) or you take it from there with Advance, Reject, or Override Status.
