Screening calls

Yes. The agent introduces itself by name as a virtual agent calling from your company, and states that the call is on a recorded line, before asking the first question. Candidates always know they’re speaking with an automated screener. If a candidate refuses to be recorded, the screening can’t proceed and they move to the Refused Recording stage.

If the call reaches voicemail, the agent leaves a message telling the candidate the company is calling about their application, inviting them to call back, and letting them know to expect another call. A voicemail does not count as a completed screening — the candidate stays in the screening queue.

Yes. Candidates can return the call on the same number, and the voice agent picks up and screens them inbound. Candidates with a scheduled callback show up under the Pending Callbacks quick filter on the Candidates page. See Inbound Calls & Callbacks.

Knockout criteria are rules attached to screening questions for hard requirements — work authorization, availability, a required license. If a candidate’s answer fails a knockout, the agent ends the call politely and the candidate moves to Failed Screening. Every answer is saved, so you can review exactly what was said on the candidate’s Calls tab. See Knockout Criteria.

Each completed screening produces a call recording, a full transcript, the candidate’s answer to every screening question, a score, and a recommendation. All of it lives on the candidate’s profile — answers and score on the Overview tab, recordings and transcripts on the Calls tab. See Reviewing Results.

Candidates & pipeline

The dot summarizes the AI’s signals at a glance: green = positive (strong fit, low risk), yellow = mixed — worth a closer look, red = negative (weak fit or elevated risk), gray = no AI signals yet. When a candidate has multiple signals (fit, work-history stability, recommendation), filtering by tier uses the most cautious one. The tier is a review aid — the decision is yours.

Yes. The Override Status action on the candidate’s profile moves a candidate to any stage, including pulling them back out of a terminal stage like Rejected — a written reason is required. For normal forward movement, use Advance instead.

A saved view is a named snapshot of your candidate-list filters. When you save one you choose whether to keep it private or share it with your team — shared views appear for everyone in your organization. You can also pin views to the top of the list, and rename or delete them later. See Filters & Saved Views.

Active selects every in-flow stage at once. Closed selects Hired, Rejected, and Do Not Contact. They’re shortcuts on the status filter — you can still pick individual stages for anything finer-grained. The full stage list is at Pipeline Stages.

Two ways: they apply through one of your job postings on a board like Indeed or LinkedIn, or you add them manually with Add Candidate (name, email, phone, job). Either way they start in the Applied stage. See Adding Candidates.

Jobs & postings

A job is the role you’re hiring for — its description, screening questions, pipeline, and voice agent settings. A posting is that job distributed to a specific board, like Indeed or LinkedIn. One job can have several postings live at once, each with its own status and application count. See Postings Overview.

Click the status pill on the Jobs page to toggle a job between Active and Paused. While paused, the job stops processing new screening activity; reactivate it the same way. Pausing a job is separate from pausing an individual posting, which you do per board from the Postings page or the job’s Job Boards section. See Managing Jobs.

No — you can edit questions from the job’s Screening section at any time. Changes apply to future calls; candidates already screened keep their original results.

Account & billing

Only Admins. Billing shows your plan, call usage against your monthly limit, credit balance, phone costs, and invoices. Recruiters and Viewers don’t have billing access. See Billing & Usage.

Admin — everything, including team management, billing, blocklist, and the employee roster. Recruiter — manage candidates and jobs, send messages, schedule interviews, view metrics and reports. Viewer — read-only access to candidates, jobs, and the dashboard. See Team & Roles.
