The Candidate Profile

Review a candidate’s screening results, history, and conversations — and take action — from the detail view.

Click any row on the Candidates page to open the candidate’s profile in a drawer that slides out from the right. A Full profile link opens the same view as a full page.

The header shows the candidate’s name, the job they applied to, when they applied, their current stage badge, and their contact details. You can star the candidate, edit their contact info inline (email, phone, city, state), and see any talent pools they belong to.

Actions

The action bar at the bottom of the profile adapts to the candidate’s current stage. The main actions:

ActionWhat it does
StarFlag the candidate as a favorite (star icon next to their name).
Add to PoolAdd the candidate to a talent pool.
Send MessageMessage the candidate by SMS or email from the Messages tab.
Book InterviewSend the candidate a self-scheduling booking link, or schedule an interview directly.
AdvanceThe green primary button moves the candidate forward. Its label matches the next step — for example Start Screening, Schedule Interview, Send Evaluation, Schedule Next Round, or Hire.
RejectRemove the candidate from consideration. You can record the outcome — including marking that the candidate withdrew — add an optional reason, and optionally send a rejection email.
No-ShowMark a candidate who missed their scheduled interview.
Add NotesRecord notes in the Notes section on the Overview tab. Interview stages also prompt for decision notes in the action bar.
DeletePermanently remove the candidate and all related data (applications, calls, messages, notes). Requires confirmation and cannot be undone.
Override StatusMove the candidate to a different stage outside the normal flow. Found in the menu (or as a primary button on closed stages). You must enter a short reason, which is kept in the candidate’s history.

Which actions appear depends on the candidate’s stage. For example, No-Show only appears when an interview is scheduled, and closed stages surface Override Status as the primary action so you can bring a candidate back into the flow.

For what each stage means and how candidates move between them, see Pipeline Stages.
