# Managing Jobs

The **Jobs** page lists every role in your organization. From here you can search and filter jobs, change their status, promote them on job boards, duplicate them for new roles, and open each job's console. To create a job, click **Post Your Job** — see [Creating a Job](/jobs/creating-a-job).

## Header stats

When you have jobs, the page header shows quick counts: **Active**, **Draft**, **Paused**, and the number of candidates **reviewed** across your jobs.

## Searching, filtering, and sorting

* **Search** — type in **Search jobs…** to filter jobs by title.
* **Status** — a multi-select filter; pick any combination of Draft, Active, Paused, Filled, and Closed. Selected statuses appear as removable chips below the toolbar, with a **Clear all** option.
* **Sort** — choose **Newest**, **Recently updated**, or **Alphabetical**.

The list shows 20 jobs per page. Active jobs are listed first, then paused, closed, and filled jobs, with drafts last.

## Job statuses

| Status | Meaning |
| ---------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Draft** | Still being set up. Nobody is screened. Drafts show a **Continue setup** link that reopens the setup flow. |
| **Active** | Live — applicants are screened and calls are made. |
| **Paused** | Screening is on hold. New applicants still arrive, but they wait in **Applied** without being called. When you set the job back to Active, they're queued for screening. Postings on your own board account are taken offline; postings bought through CONFIRM keep running. |
| **Filled** | The position has been filled. Screening stops, but the job and its candidates stay in your records. Filled jobs can be reopened. |
| **Closed** | The job is closed without being filled. Its job board postings are stopped. Closed jobs can be reopened. |

> **Tip**
>
> For **Active** and **Paused** jobs, the status pill on the job row is clickable — click it to switch between active and paused without opening a menu. In the job console, use the status menu (**Pause Job** / **Resume Job**).

## Pausing a job with live postings

A posting bought through CONFIRM is a paid run, and job boards can't pause it. So when you pause a job that has one running, a **Pause this job?** dialog explains that the posting keeps running until its run ends and that new applicants wait until you reactivate the job. If the job also has postings on your own board account, the dialog notes those are taken offline while the job is paused. Choose:

* **Pause job** to pause the job and leave the postings bought through CONFIRM running.
* **Pause and stop posting** to pause the job and stop those postings now. Stopping early doesn't refund the rest of the run, and listing the job again means placing a new order.

If the job has no running postings bought through CONFIRM, it's paused straight away. Reactivating a job doesn't resume or re-order its postings; do that from the [Postings](/postings/managing-postings) page.

## Reading a job row

Each row shows, on its first line, the job title, an **Auto** badge (AI screening calls are on), a **Live on N boards** chip when the job has active job board postings (click it to open the [Postings](/postings/postings-overview) page filtered to that job), the status pill, and the actions menu.

The second line shows the location, the work arrangement (Remote, Hybrid, or On-site), the employment type, and the pay range.

The third line shows **Reviewed**, **Eligible**, and **Hired** counts (or **Continue setup** for drafts), when the job was last updated, and a job board button: **Promote Your Job on Job Boards** if the job isn't live on any board yet, or **Add a board** once it is. Drafts don't have this button — finish setup first.

Click anywhere else on the row to open the [job console](/jobs/job-console).

## The actions menu

The **⋮** menu on each row offers:

| Action | What it does |
| ---------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Duplicate for New Role** | Copies the job into a new draft. See [Duplicating a job](#duplicating-a-job). |
| **Promote Your Job on Job Boards** | Opens the job board buying page for this job. See [Posting to Job Boards](/postings/posting-to-job-boards). |
| **Mark as Filled** | Opens the fill dialog (active and paused jobs). See below. |
| **Close Job** | Sets the job to Closed (active and paused jobs) and stops its job board postings. |
| **Reopen Job** | Returns a filled or closed job to Active. |
| **Delete** | Removes the job from your jobs list after you confirm and stops its job board postings. Candidates associated with the job remain in the system. |

## Marking a job as filled

**Mark as Filled** (from the actions menu or the job console's status menu) opens a dialog that handles everyone still in progress on the job. If nobody is in progress, the job is marked filled straight away. Otherwise the dialog shows:

* **How many candidates will be rejected**, broken down by their current status.
* **Save candidates to a talent pool** — on by default. Save them to a new pool (named after the job and month) or pick an existing one, so you can revisit them for future openings.
* **Send rejection email** — off by default. Turn it on to email the rejected candidates; you can pick a template and edit the subject and body. This requires a connected email account.
* **Active postings — pick which to cancel** — if the job has running or paused postings, each is listed and checked. Checked postings are stopped when the job is filled; uncheck a posting to leave it live on the board.

Click **Confirm & Fill Job** to finish.

## Duplicating a job

**Duplicate for New Role** opens a dialog pre-filled from the original job. Adjust the **Job Title**, description (keep the existing one or start from scratch), location, type, pay period, and pay range. **Regenerate screening questions** is on by default — AI creates new questions tailored to the new role. Turn it off to copy the questions from the source job.

Click **Duplicate Job**. The copy is created as a draft and opens on the **Review & Activate** step, so you can check it and activate it.
