# Navigating the Portal

This page walks through each item in the portal's sidebar, top to bottom, and links to the relevant docs.

> **Note**
>
> What you see depends on your role and on which features are turned on for your organization. In Settings, Administrators see every page; Recruiters see My Account, Team Members, Connect Email & Calendar, Communications, and Knowledge Base; Viewers see My Account, Communications, and Knowledge Base; Hiring Managers see My Account. See [Team & Roles](/settings/team-and-roles).

## Dashboard

Your landing page after sign-in: headline numbers, candidates waiting on you, upcoming interviews, recent activity, and a view of your hiring pipeline. A job dropdown lets you focus on a single role. See [Dashboard](/analytics/dashboard).

## Candidates

All applicants across your jobs in one searchable, filterable list. Filter by status, job, fit tier, and more; save views you use often; select candidates for bulk actions; and open any candidate to see their profile, screening results, and message history. Use **Add** to add a candidate yourself. See [The Candidate List](/candidates/candidate-list).

## Inbox

SMS and email conversations with candidates in one place. Reply in-thread without leaving the portal. See [Inbox](/communication/inbox).

## Jobs

Create and manage your open positions. Click **Post Your Job** to start a new one. Each job row shows its status, Reviewed / Eligible / Hired counts, and a button to promote it on job boards. Click a job to open its console. See [Managing Jobs](/jobs/managing-jobs) and [The Job Console](/jobs/job-console).

## Background Checks

Appears only when CONFIRM Background Checks is turned on for your organization. It's the hub for ordering and tracking checks. If you don't see it and want to use background checks, contact your CONFIRM account team.

## Postings

Every job board posting across all your jobs, organized by status: live, recurring, ending soon, paused, ended, and those on your own board account. See [Postings Overview](/postings/postings-overview).

## Talent Pools

Named candidate collections that span jobs, useful for keeping strong candidates on hand for future openings. See [Talent Pools](/candidates/talent-pools).

## Metrics

Hiring metrics over a time range you choose: candidates in your pipeline, speed to first contact, screens completed, time saved, conversion through each stage, and top-performing jobs. See [Metrics](/analytics/metrics).

## Reports

Downloadable exports such as applicant lists, résumés, call logs, interview schedules, and HRIS upload files. See [Exports](/analytics/exports).

## Demo

**Experience AI Screening**: hear the screening call your candidates get. Enter your phone number and the AI agent calls you and runs a screening. Demo is on for most organizations; if you don't see it, contact your CONFIRM account team.

## Settings

Organization configuration, grouped into three sections:

| Group | What's in it |
| ------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Organization** | My Account, Team Members, Connect Email & Calendar, Billing & payments, and Spend (where turned on for your organization) |
| **Hiring** | Communications, Scheduling, Knowledge Base, Blocklist, and Background Checks |
| **Attracting candidates** | Job Boards (your board accounts and public careers page) and Referrals (your referral link and employee roster) |

You only see the settings your role can open. Start at [Team & Roles](/settings/team-and-roles).

## Support

A **Support** button at the bottom of the sidebar opens a panel for contacting the CONFIRM team. It shows a count when you have unread replies.
